Popular Nigerian singer Ink Boy is hoping social media can help him connect with Ghanaian star Black Sherif for a potential collaboration.

Ink Boy, who gained massive recognition after being featured on Sarkodie's hit "One Million Cedis" earlier this year, is working on a new single titled "Star Sign."

He hopes Black Sherif will appear on the track.
He asked his fans and the online community to repeatedly tag Black Sherif, so he can get the "Kwaku The Traveller" hitmaker’s attention.

In a tweet on Friday, September 15, Ink Boy wrote "My people this is STAR SIGN the song I want Black Sherif on I want y’all to please Tag him as much as you can until He sees it. I trust you all let’s go."

If successful, it would mark Ink Boy's third collaboration with a Ghanaian act, following features from award-winning rapper Sarkodie on both “One Million Cedis” and recent track "For Days.”

Black Sherif has risen to global recognition over the past year with his blend of highlife, afrobeats and storytelling raps.

A potential pairing with Ink Boy could expose the budding Nigerian artist to larger audiences across West Africa and farther abroad.
