Ghanaian reggae/dancehall singer Shatta Wale has announced plans to unite with two of Ghana's biggest music stars, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, on the stage of his upcoming Freedom Wave Festival 2023.
In a tweet on Thursday, September 14, Shatta Wale revealed "Sarkodie and Stonebwoy will be performing at #FWF23 if they like it or not!!"
He added that bringing the three superstars together is part of his goal to promote "peace and unity before next year’s elections."
The Freedom Wave Festival, which Shatta Wale first introduced in 2022, is set to return to the 40,000-capacity Accra Sports Stadium on December 20.
Last year's event saw Shatta Wale make history as the first Ghanaian artist to sell-out the national venue, co-hosting fellow dancehall star Medikal.
Fans are waiting to see whether Sarkodie and Stonebwoy will agree to perform, but the self-acclaimed dancehall king he is clearly determined for the reconciliation.
