Tic Tac with Tony Tetuilla who featured on Fe Fe Ne Fe If you were not at the National Theatre on the night of 26th June 2004, then you really missed a lot. It was a night of the stars. Put together by Goodies Music Production, Vintage Vision Ltd and supported by the Ghana Olympic Committee, the event was organised purposely for the launching of the 'Wope' album by Tic Tac as well as to raise funds for the Ghana for Gold- Athens 2004.There were performances from the Dzakuman Ensemble Cultural Troupe, splendid dance choreography from Paa T and his dancers. Other artistes who graced the occasion were Antwi ne Antwi who did a remix of their popular song 'Sekina' as well as a song from their current album, 'Uncle Ebo'. Sidney Sidney was also there to treat the fans to his popular 'Scent No' tune. He massively received public response. TH4 Kwages also sang a couple of their songs. They also thrilled the audience with their sensational Fanti rap.4X4 on the other hand made the audience scream and swoon with their blended Ghanaian Nigerian tune titled 'Kpekpele'. When it comes to rapping in Ewe, no other person comes in mind than Chicago. He was also present to sing a couple of his Ewe songs. Obour Sony Achiba also gave out his best by performing marvelously. He and his dancers started with dance choreography before singing his nice tunes. Later on, Obour who escaped death under dire circumstances performed and really thrilled the audience with his powerful lyrics. He commenced by singing a track titled 'Shyne Ur Eye' and then switched to another popular track titled 'Konkontibaa'.With many musicians, fans and friends in the house, the fascinating rag life artiste by name Batman turned the place into a dancing hall when he sang the chart buster tune 'Linda' since the audience could not resist but dance with him. Batman The hype that follows Batman is tremendous. He then sang another lovely track titled 'Di Wo Line Mu' since the audience was asking for that.The sensational group who won 6 awards at the just ended Ghana Music Awards 2004 by name VIP (Vision In Progress) made the house blaze like never before. The ladies screamed and danced to their feet when they saw VIP perform. Their 'Ahomka Womu' track alongside a formation dance really made the audience shout for more. Tony Tetuilla Nigerian topmost star Tony Tetuilla performed marvelously when he sang a couple of songs on his new album.Finally, the moment we were all waiting for came when the most wanted, creative and sensational lyricist by name Tic Tac dressed in all MKOGH attire appeared on stage surprisingly from a place the audience did not have an idea of- the underground part of the stage.The musician extraordinaire who has rampaged the hiplife game for years with albums like 'Philomena', 'Masom' and 'Masem' acknowledged some sponsors like Doscar travel and tours, National Theatre, TV3, TV Africa, Metro TV, Ghana Music.Com, Adom FM, Radio Gold, Radio Hits, Peace FM, MKOGH, Coca Cola, Ware House Nite Club, Busy Internet, Spacefon, Sky Power and Media Sam who helped him in diverse ways to put together the event.The conqueror (Tic Tac) sang a couple of his old songs before starting with 'Kwani Kwani' which is a new track. Everyone was on the feet trying to take a glimpse of him. Thereafter, he performed another hit track titled 'Angela' alongside VIP. Backed by the prolific hiplife artiste Tinny on the 'Push' track, Tic Tac moved the audience into frantic ecstasy. He ended the show with his 'Fefe Na Efe' track with Tony Tetuilla doing the backing vocals in Pidgin. 'Fefe Na Efe' is a chart buster in Nigeria and 7th in Ghana on Joy FM's local chart show.His last words were that people should watch out for the video of 'Fefe Na Efe' which will be shown on our TV screens soon.In all, the show was captivating.
