Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has resurfaced on social media after a long break with a stunning new photo.
In a caption accompanying the photo posted on Facebook on Wednesday, May 31, the multiple award-winning actress said her break from social media was in search of peace but some people mistake that for being boring.
The quote says "People mistake peace for boring."
The photo shows Yvonne sitting on a grass with her hands folded around her thighs dressed in a multi-coloured top and matching black shorts.
She gazes into the distance with a calm and peaceful expression.
Yvonne has been relatively inactive on social media in recent months after the premiere of her movie "Kotoka" in February.
Prior to that, she was vocal about Ghana's economic challenges.
However, her latest post indicates that she has been spending time seeking inner peace away from the public eye.
The photoshoot and photo upload seem to mark a return to social media, at least for now.
The actress and producer, known for championing social causes in Ghana, stressed that finding peace of mind should not be seen as being boring.
For her, it was important to take a break and recharge.
