Bullgod fires Fantana over queen of dancehall claims

Bulldog, a well-known artist manager and entertainment expert, has recently responded to Fantana's claim that she is Ghana's top female dancehall artist.

The former Rufftown Records artist made the claim during her introduction on an episode of the popular African reality television series Young, Famous & African, which is now streaming on Netflix.

Many netizens appear to disagree with Fantana's assertion, which has already sparked controversy on social media.

Despite his reverence for Fantana's right to free speech, the CEO of Bullhaus Entertainment stated he disagrees with her statement on UTV's United Showbiz entertainment review program on Saturday night.

Bulldog argued that in order to claim such a title, a person must have the catalogue of songs to back it up; however, Fantana lacks the catalogue to prove that she is indeed Ghana's most popular artist.

He added that, as a consequence of Fantana's recent crossover to the reggae/dancehall genre, she lacks the songs to support her statements on the program.

Bulldog continued by stating that the reggae/dancehall arena is difficult because the genres of music they perform are not mainstream, so many people may not follow it as fervently as he does. Many people may not be familiar with the artist Aklerh, but he is performing exceedingly well in his field.
