Ghanaian radio presenter, entrepreneur, and recording artist Adjoa Yeboah Asuama Kusi, known widely as Ohemaa Woyeje, has opined on hypocrisy in the media space.

The media personality has taken notice of the disturbing attitude of many media colleagues who find delight in attaching their poached colleagues for favor from their bosses.

Ohemaa Woyeje reacting to the recent brouhaha about the movement of actress and television presenter Nana Ama McBrown, who was tagged as "ungrateful," said it was wrong on the part of those who insulted her with all manner of words.

Speaking from experience, Woyeje revealed that she was similarly lambasted for leaving Multimedia for Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).

This, to her, is unfair because no one needs the permission of a colleague when making a life choice.

"As media personalities, we fail to put ourselves in the shoes of colleagues who decide to move to different stations. We only understand these people when it is also our time to move.

"You don't need the opinion of another person when making life and career decisions because it has to do with you only...those who are insulting and tagging McBrown as ungrateful, I suffered same when I left Multimedia...there comes a time when one will have to move. Stop attacking people; it is wrong to have attacked McBrown," she said.

Meanwhile, the former host of Accra-based UTV’s popular United Showbiz has joined Media General’s Onua TV following her resignation some weeks ago.
