Ghanaian gospel crooner, Ebenezer Himil, has reacted to conversations about him being a replica of seasoned Ghanaian gospel singer and pastor, Joe Beecham.
The fastest-rising gospel sensation has revealed the similarities he shares with the "Egya Fakye Hen" hitmaker.
In a one-on-one interview with Nii Johnson on Swedru-based Obrempong FM’s entertainment show "SHOWBIZZ" on Friday, March 17, gospel artiste Ebenezer Himil was likened to the legendary Pastor Joe Beecham of "Ao Yesu" fame by the host and some Ghanaians during a phone-in section.
According to them, in terms of voice quality and grade of the message, there are no differences.
The gospel artiste, speaking on his fresh single titled "Wiadze aye hu" and in reaction to what the general public had said, could not hide his joy as he clearly stated that it was a privilege to have been compared with such a great musician and man of God, Pastor Joe Beechem.
"He actually laid his hand on me and prayed for me somewhere in 2011 to become a great musician in the near future," he revealed.
Ebenezer Himil indicated that the public is not so wrong, although there’s a slight difference in the voices.
"Pastor’s voice is deeper, and mine is lighter," he further revealed.
