Reigning VGMA Artist of the Year, Dennis Nana Dwamena, known by the stage name KiDi, has been on the trend.

Rumours broke on Thursday, March 16, that the "Touch It" hitmaker is currently bedridden, which may probably be due to an alleged stroke.

Though this portal can boldly confirm to its readers that the singer is truly sick and may be a serious one, we cannot ascertain the truth about the stroke rumours.

But to go by his Lynx Record label boss’ reaction to the news, we can as well tell fans to relax and not panic because even though he is sick, he is not bedridden, as has been widely published.

Trashing the rumours, the Lynx Entertainment boss, Richie Mensah, noted in a tweet on Thursday that "KiDi hasn't had a stroke," so people should "ignore the rumours and the clickbait."

Meanwhile, before rumours of his stroke broke, KiDi had noted in a message to his fans on social media that he was sick and would have to consider staying off for a while for medical treatment.

The singer postponed his "Golden Boy North American Tour," assuring his fans that the tour will come on once he recovers.

“HI MY LOVES,
“It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the postponement of my Golden Boy North American Tour. I understand how incredibly disappointing this news is for a lot of you. The excitement that so many of you expressed about coming out to see me on this tour was heartwarming and I was really looking forward to this experience together.

“I've had to make this decision to postpone the tour due to health issues and I want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. A tour of this magnitude and level of commitment it will take may put me at risk of further damage to my health.

“I want to ensure that whenever we meet on tour, it will be an experience worth everything you've given me as an artist and I can only do that if I am in much better health than I am now. Apologies to all of my fans and Duke Concept. Thank you for your incredible support. I love you all so much for everything you've given me and continue to give me.”
