Ghanaian cantankerous singer Flatelo has sparked debate with his opinion on how Ghanaian singers, particularly the upcoming ones, will hit the limelight.

His answer to how one can become popular in the industry is arrogance.

According to him, new talents will have to put up aggressive behaviours to catch more eyes for popularity in the musical space.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Kessben TV, the versatile singer said the Ghanaian entertainment industry doesn’t value humility.

"If you stay humble as a budding musician in the country, you can never be popular or, better still make it in the music industry," he claimed.

Coming from Flatelo makes it more understandable, as he mostly initiates controversies to stay relevant in the scene.

His current beef was his accusations against Black Sherif for being ungrateful and forgetting his helper Yaa Pono, and now he is worshipping Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie.
