Ghanaian female musician Wendy Asiamah Addo, known widely as Wendy Shay, has waded into the recent conversation about rapper Sarkodie snubbing his colleagues over rap verse requests whenever they approach him for them.

The BET Award-winning rapper has, for the past week, come under intense criticism from his industry colleagues.

It started with reggae-dancehall singer Samini accusing the rapper of snubbing him over a feature despite granting him what he (Sarkodie) had earlier requested from him in less than 24 hours.

Following Samini’s revelation, musicians like Edem, Yaa Pono and others who claimed to have been snubbed too launched a slammed the reigning VGMA Artist of the Decade.

But wading into the conversation, the Ruff Town Record signee gave a different impression about Sarkodie.

Unlike what others have painted about him, the "Psalm 35" hitmaker described Sarkodie as a kind-hearted man.

The Shay Gang leader narrated how Sarkodie wrote a verse for her just two hours after requesting it.

While praising Sarkodie in a tweet, Wendy Shay revealed how a certain top Ghanaian musician denied her a verse.

"I released my first ever song on 1st June 2018... Just 3 months in the industry, I sent Psalm 35 to Sarkodie, and 2 hours later he sent his verse. I still have 2 songs with a top GH artist since 2020, and the person never do am.

"I want to say thank you, Sarkodie, you are too kind," she tweeted.
