My favourite Shatta Wale song is “On God” – Samini reveals

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall singer Samini has picked colleague singer Shatta Wale’s "On God" as his favourite song.

To him, of all the songs released by the Shatta Movement (SM) boss, his favourite among them is the 2022 hit, which had over 14 million streams on Audiomack.

He made the comment about his industry rival while engaging his fans in a Q&A (question and answer) section via Twitter on Monday, January 23.

"What’s your favorite Shatta Wale song?" asked a tweep, to which he briefly replied, "On God."

The same Q&A has brought to light how Samini secretly holds issues against Sarkodie for refusing to honour his feature requests.

Responding to a question of when he will release a track with the BET-winning rapper, the "Linda" hitmaker averred that he will never work with Sarkodie because he has been giving him blue ticks on WhatsApp.

According to Samini, he “got nothing against Sarkodie and he knows it. He also knows that he Dey owe me personal apology for the blue ticks after having me send 3 tracks and he choosing 1. After asking me if it was a single or an album to which I answered it’s an EP.He’s like coo he’s yet to respond.”
