Sarkodie has taken his time to address some allegations from his industry colleagues, including Samini who recently complained about Sarkodie's refusal to grant his feature requests.

The Linda hitmaker, in an interactive section with fans on Twitter in the late hours of Monday, January 23, said: "I'm not sure I’ll need a verse from Sarkodie, but if he ever does need one, I’m not interested, and that’s facts."

He explained to a fan who inquired if the two singers will be serving fans with a song that the rapper has disrespected him by ignoring his messages on WhatsApp after he denied honouring his collaboration requests.

Speaking on Accra-based Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show, Samini stressed, "I have done verses for him, including “Love Rocks,” which took me just 24 hours but failed to return the favour after sending him 3 songs, and he chose one but never heard from him again."

"He is my boy, but he disrespected me. When he was coming up in one of his freestyles, he said he wanted to be big like me, but he then dissed me one time in one of his songs when he became known," the 'Linda' hitmaker explained.

In reaction, Sarkodie first offered an apology but noted he doesn’t agree with the reggae artist's assertion.

He believes Samini should have chosen a better avenue to register his grievances with him other than Twitter, adding that they will soon iron out their differences.

"I’m sorry for how he feels, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I agree with everything he said; I understand, but I can’t control how he feels, and that’s what I’m sorry for," the BET-winning rapper said.

Sarkodie averred that he deals with "situations differently; I do it my own way," adding, "I might be wrong, but that’s my logic of living; if you don’t take care with certain things, you might say or do something you shouldn’t."

"I also have issues that I have never come out to complain about because I deal with such issues differently, I won’t go on Twitter to talk about it or anything, but I can only say sorry to how he feels and we will talk about this at the right time," he stressed.
