Ghanaian dancehall singer Shatta Wale has made a sarcastic remark concerning the musical collaboration between rapper Sarkodie and the late Bob Marley’s team on the "Stir It Up" remix.

The "Freedom" coroner stated that the record set by Sarkodie in the project was unprecedented and needed to be celebrated by the industry players.

In an interview with Accra-based Hitz FM, Shatta Wale addressed a couple of issues concerning the Ghanaian music industry and described the feature as "a beautiful one."

He noted that at long last Ghanaians have seen that there is an artist who can still collaborate with a 'ghost' for a song.

"Now Sarkodie has featured with Bob Marley and it’s so beautiful, we need to praise him because at least now we have someone that can feature a ghost," Shatta said.

The Ghanaian music landlord has earned for himself the record-breaking feature with the late, legendary Bob Marley’s camp.

The most decorated African rapper has been featured on the new version of the reggae icon’s "Stir It Up" track.

The original track of the remix was done by Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1973, which still remains relevant in recent times.

With the feature, the record-holding African rapper has extended his accolades to become the first African rapper to achieve that feat.

The track was released on Friday, January 20, which confirmed the earlier comment from his camp about doing a feature with an artist who is bigger than American rapper Jay-Z.

Meanwhile, there has been conversation on social media about which of the two international features—Shatta Wale on Beyonce’s Lion King album and Sarkodie on Bob Marley’s track—is the biggest.
