Astute Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Rocky Dawuni has commented about chasing for gigs in the music industry.

The three-time Grammy-nominated artist said he has not been receiving invites from show organisers despite his achievements.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, the experienced singer opined that he does not believe it is out of fear of charging huge amounts of money, which he won't.

The "Neva Bow Down" hitmaker revealed that it has been worrying a lot of people.

"It has nothing to do with money," said Rocky Dawuni, adding that "someone asked the same question, and I told them I have no control over whether or not the event organizer will book me."

"I don’t have any power over that," he stressed.

The host, who was also worried about it, asked, "But we should ask any event planner why Rocky Dawuni isn’t booked for events even though he’s been nominated for Grammys three times."
