I featured Blacko, Cina Soul on my album not for trends but their uniqueness — Sarkodie reiterates

Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie has clarified why he has songs with Black Sherif and Cina Soul on his recently released "Jamz" album.

After the release of the album, several Ghanaians on social media have been dragging the rapper for basking on the newbies’ fame.

But for the second time publicly, Sarkodie says his reason for featuring the two young artists is not because they are hotcakes on the industry.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Boomplay, a music streaming platform, the reigning VGMAs artist of the decade said he featured Cina Soul on his "over me" track because she is unique, has a solid brand, and is presentable.

About Black Sherif, he said the same, emphasising that he has been very supportive of the young rapper since his early days, which is the reason he accepted to put him on the album when he (Black Sherif) approached him.

His clarifications was a response to a question by the interviewer, that; What did you find special about Black Sherif and Cina Soul that made you feature them on your new album.
