Ghanaian UK based reggae superstar Rocky Dawuni has added another Grammy nomination to his list of musical accomplishments with his “Neva Bow Down track.”

This is his third and second consecutive nomination after 2016 and 2022, where he lost on both occasions.

The 65th Grammy Award nominees were officially unveiled by the Recording Academy in a live event on Tuesday, November 15.

The three-time Ghanaian nominee will be battling in the "Global Music Performance" category with his African colleague and a one-time winner from Nigeria, Burna Boy.

Rocky Dawuni’s second nomination was for Best Global Music Album for his 'Voice of Bunbon, Vol. 1' which he lost to his African colleague, Beninese singer and songwriter, Angelique Kidjo who has been nominated again in the same category after winning the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in 2022.

He previously had his first nomination in 2016 for "Best Reggae Album," which he also lost.

The Ghanaian musician will be looking forward to winning his first award after two failed attempts.

The 2023 Grammys, officially known as the 65th Grammy Awards, will be held on February 5, 2023 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will be broadcasted live on the CBS Television Network and streamed live and on-demand on Paramount Plus.
