America-based Ghanaian gospel artiste, MIQ B has stated that the release of his latest single track was inspired by the current economic hardship.

Greatly engineered by Mysta Africa, 'Testimony’ is a song that seeks to inspire believers and unbelievers on the essence of waiting for God’s blessings in times of need.

The well-produced song features legendary Ghanaian Highlife artist, Naa Agyeman. Known in real life as Michael Boateng, MIQ B has for some time now enriched the souls of both believers and unbelievers with some nail-biting songs such as 'Abamu Awie’, 'All The Glory' and 'Ebenezer.'

‘Testimony’ has become one of the most played gospel songs on the airwaves as the gospel musician continues to inspire Ghanaians with his magnificent voice and lyrics.

Speaking in an interview on Hot 93.9FM's 'Rush Hour' drive show hosted by Okyerefour, MIQ B who was answering a question in line with the inspiration behind the song said:

"In fact, Testimony is one of the songs I wrote two years ago ...When I am about to drop a song, I look at the situation at hand then I release a song that would coincide with it thus looking at the current economic hardship, I decided to drop 'Testimony ' to inspire people that God can save us from the situation.

"We often think about the negative things that happen in our lives ... we forget about the good things God has done for us. So I did this song to inspire people that irrespective of the situation, we should always keep the faith," he added.
