Ghana's reggae-dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale is asking Ghanaians to appreciate his hard work.

The celebrated singer told Ghanaians to at least celebrate his efforts in the entertainment industry and the country at large.

In a post on his official Facebook page, he wrote, "Can you people celebrate me for once?"

Shatta further forewarned Ghanaians about his yet-to-be-released GOG album, telling them not to negate his hard work with negative comments when the album drops.

The award-winning musician promised music enthusiasts and his fans he would be releasing the tracks from his album in the coming month.

“I am dropping my album for Shatta Wale fans across the globe. Pls I am not dropping it for chickens and lizards pls. Yoooo!!!

“I don’t want negative discussion about my album on any platform(Warning)⛔️❌‼️

I didn’t come here to join unions ,I came with mine and that’s “SHATTA MOVEMENT,” he said.

He continued “October rain ☔️

Get ready for some singles on the #GOGALBUM2022

Pls and pls and pls 🙏

I am not doing this album for Ghana music industry. I am doing this as my Job to fill the souls and minds of the masses with peace and love.”
