Indeed, the Global Citizens festival, hosted here in Ghana at the Black Stars Square on the evening of Saturday, September 24, has left footprints of excitement and memorable scenes, aside from a few dents recorded.

Berla Mundi, a Ghanaian female media personality, has been swept off her feet by the charming American R&B singer Usher Raymond.

A day after the show, on Sunday, September 25, the opportunity was opened for fans of the headline artists to interact with their superstars, where Berla managed to get in touch with Usher.

She identified herself as a staunch fan of the global icon in a video posted by GhPage on Instagram where the two were involved in close to a minute-long conversation.

The hostess of the event, in her last words, said, "Let's have our wedding here before you go," which was preceded by laughter from both parties.

As anticipated, Saturday's event was cheerfully marked by powerful stage performances from both Ghanaian and international artists like Sarkodie, Stormzy, Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy, Tems, Gyakie, Daddy Lumba, Kwesi Arthur, Yaw Tog, and others.

The Global Citizen Festival is an annual music festival where fans can earn free tickets by taking action to end extreme poverty.

The event, held in Accra, Ghana, aimed to bring together artists and world leaders in order to achieve a policy agenda focused on empowering girls and women, defending the planet, and effecting change.
