Lydia Forson, a popular Ghanaian actress, has issued a solemn call to her fellow entertainers in the music industry to return the support she gives them.
In a tweet spotted by Modernghana News today, September 12, she asks musicians and the entire country to put aside their issues with Ghanaian films and help promote them.
“I’m very intentional about promoting Ghanaian music; I don’t always get it right but I try. When I make reels, a Ghanaian song is always my first choice, before others,” she wrote.
Her tweet adds “support is intentional.
But errr I want y’all to give the same support to our movie industry dammit.”
For years now, actors and actresses, as well as movie enthusiasts, have been putting in much effort to redeem the once vibrant movie industry.
