The Ghanaian-South African-born singer and songwriter, Adina Thembi Ndamse, better known in showbiz as Adina, appears not to be ready for marriage anytime soon.
The 32-year-old singer said she is loaded with too many tasks that need to be attended before going into marriage.
She, however, stated during an interview monitored by Modernghana News on the Accra-based GTV’s Breakfast Showbiz on Thursday, July 21 that she will surely get married one day.
“As for getting married, all I can say is that it’s something I’d want to do in the future. That, to me, is both important and weighty. I want to one day be married and have a family of my own. All you need to know for the time being is what I just told you,” she said.
Adina adds “I don’t want to be under any kind of stress or pressure. There is a lot going on in my life at the moment. What is it? I implore you not to interfere with my personal life. My schedule is full; I have a gig on Saturday, so we’ll have to wait and see."
Unlike her colleague and female R&B and Afropop singer, MzVee, who has accepted family pressure to marry even though she is 30, Adina appears unprepared to take on the responsibility despite being two years older.
