The era of slay queens competing over the biggest fashion apparel is gradually heading to an end as the new era of flaunting properties is the latest lifestyle.
The ladies have now taken their bragging rights a notch higher with the property-owning craze.
It is now about acquiring the biggest mansion in town and being ready to flaunt it.
Currently, showbiz personalities Jackie Appiah and Tracey Boakye are leading the pack in the show of mansions.
They have been trending over their decision to show off their mansions at East Legon, the rich suburb of Accra.
Jackie Appiah, 38, was the first to catch public attention with two videos of her magnificent house at Trasacco Estates.
The house features a VIP area, a state-of-the-art swimming pool, a walk-in closet, a modern kitchen, an office space, a smart toilet, and many other smart devices.
The first video was one captured with a Nigerian actress who visited her and the other is a professional video of the house showcasing different angles.
It is unclear who released that video, but there were speculations that the person had permission to do it.
Social media has since been divided over the second video. Jackie was heavily criticised for flaunting her house because to them, it was not necessary. Those on the other hand found nothing wrong with it.
There were also individuals on social media who resorted to comparative analysis among Ghanaian celebrities after the video of Jackie Appiah's mansion went viral.
They made fun of some female celebrities such as Afia Schwarzenegger, Diamond Appiah and Tracey Boakye by comparing their houses to that of Jackie.
It was in the spirit of defending herself that Tracey reportedly also shared a video of one of her houses.
Taking to her official Instagram page, Tracey Boakye broke her silence on the backlash she received from social media users regarding Jackie's mansion.
She shared the video of her mansion saying, “At least it is mine oo, one of my mansions, 31 years, chai.”
The video showed all corners of her 'East Legon Landlady’s' expensive house. The video starts off with a bird’s eye view of the mansion and then it moves to the pool area which has Tracey Boakye’s daughter, Akua Nhyira’s toys as well as swimming gear and swim rings.
The video further shows off her luxury living room which has gold splashed across the various furniture. The curtains hanged gracefully from the ceiling and dropped to the floor, among others.
Other queens are expected to show proof of what they have amassed for themselves ever since they ventured into 'slaying'.
