My former record label deprived me of my creative freedom - Feli Nuna

‘Towel’ hitmaker, Felicia Akosua Nuna Tawiah, popularly known as Feli Nuna has ‘fingered’ her former record label in setbacks she has encountered in her career.

According to her, the label’s vision with regard to creativity was not compatible with hers, hence the decision to withdraw.

“The creative vision was my main thing because the way I was being presented and the kind of music I was doing then, I didn’t like it,” she said during an interview on Asempa FM’s Showbiz Review.

She added that the label did not appreciate her works and also dashed her ambitions to have international collaborations.

“I thought I could have my creative freedom but when I did a song, they purposely tell me that I should dam it down. I even wanted an international collaboration and appeal but it was their target market,” she said.
