Prolific Ghanaian actor, Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto has urged the youth in the country to focus more on working hard instead praying constantly.
According to the self-acclaimed ‘international journalist’, Ghanaians are fond of spending more of their time praying instead of stepping out to work.
Akrobeto added that there is more to life than just praying.
He noted that Ghanaians must be made to understand that manna will never fall from heaven like magic.
"Pray for shorter periods and work more. There is no rich man or woman whose mother is a witch. It’s only mothers of poor people. If you work hard, you’ll not say your mother is a witch.
"So, all I’m telling you today is that pray but don’t waste all the time praying. Rather invest more time into working so that you can make money to help others,” he said.
Born on November 18, 1962, the actor has been active on Ghanaian screens for over two decades.
