Award-winning UK-based Ghanaian afro Gospel musician, Joseph Matthew aka JM is set to drop his debut single track for 2022 dubbed 'Blessed'.

Before the song is officially released on the 23rd of April, 2022, it has already started creating controversy.

Per a teaser of the ‘Blessed’ music video, which has gone viral on social media, the lyrical content is perceived to be a swipe at pastors.

According to Joseph Matthew, "God has already blessed me, I don't need any Holy water on my head."

The lyrics has created elephantine controversy as many are asking if the 'Nyame Ye' hitmaker is taking a swipe at Pastors who are fond of anointing Church members with 'Holy Water'.

The masterpiece, according to this portal's checks was engineered by Francis Osei and the video directed by Martin Sean.

‘Blessed’ when released on 23rd April, 2022 would be the sixth single track for the award-winning afro gospel musician who is known for hit songs such as ‘Hallelujah, ‘Nyame Ye’ My Story ', ' Not Alone 'and 'The Name’.

Well, all attempts to reach Joseph Matthew to ascertain the true meaning of the Lyrics have so far proven futile.

Kindly watch the teaser of the video and be the judge.
