This historic component for youth, teens and young adults to the Black Meta Fest displays that youth, teens and young adults need to be involved and engaged in learning about the growth of future technologies. The influence of the Metaverse, Web 3.0 environments, using NFTs to inspire and engage youth and teens to display their artistic talents and abilities. Not all youth, teens, and young adults are into gaming, sports, and entertainment.

Black, Brown and those of diaspora enriched youth, teens and young adults are enhanced artistically and blessed with skills. These skills can touch not just minds, but emotions. The educational component will be managed by seasoned educators, entrepreneurs, artists, STEAM Advocates, parents, business owners, creatives and innovators. Malcolm stated the value of education: “Without education, you're not going anywhere in this world.” The elements of change are here and we, collectively cannot wait to be allowed to sit at the tables of technology. We have our own tables, chairs, rooms, buildings, and no glass ceilings limiting us. We are of royalty, prominence, creativity, and divine rights to flourish and influence the world digitally.

The goal, to get youth, teens and young adults involved in Web 3.0, Metaverse and Digital Entrepreneurialism early. Preparing them to be business owners, entrepreneurs, digital influencers, creators, producers, artists, and innovators. This changes Black History Month forever, not just celebrating Black History Month, but building future business owners, entrepreneurs, creators, developers, and innovators.

There is no need for special devices to view and participate. There will be certain activities that will be in metaverse worlds and platforms, content will be streamed and accessible across websites, YouTube channels and other platforms. This is a historical technological experience. The value of education cannot be overlooked or disregarded.

“Education is an important element in the struggle for human rights. It is the means to help our children and thereby increase self-respect. Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.”
