Medikal, Shatta Wale arrest: Ghana will prosper under Dampare — Actor Prince David Osei

Popular Ghanaian actor and philanthropist, Prince David Osei says the arrest of the two musicians is a vivid reflection of the country being fixed.

Responding to the detention of Shatta Wale and Medikal by the Ghana Police Service led by the new Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the actor believes the country is back on track.

“True democracy is when we are all equal before the law, did I hear fix the country? Well, the powers that be heard your plea and is fixing the country. Ghana will Prosper. Goodnight wai,” Prince David Osei said in a post on his Instagram page on Thursday.

Dr. George Akuffo Dampare who is working to improve law enforcement in his office has started cracking the whip on personalities whose actions are not in line with the law.

Following the arrest of Shatta Wale for faking a gunshot attack on Tuesday, October 19th, Medikal who is acknowledged as one of Ghana’s famous rappers has been arrested on Thursday, October 21, 2021, for brandishing a gun on the internet.

Both musicians are currently in police custody at the Ankaful Prison where they will spend five days.
