Comic Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah also known as Lilwin is calling out to creative arts industry players to celebrate their works while they are alive.
According to him, paying homage to them when they are dead appears too late.
He believes they have played significant roles as far as the industry is concerned.
"We entertain many in so many ways, we put smiles on your faces and by this we must be hailed while we live because that is the only way we can feel happy and content with our contribution to the nation," he stated on Hitz FM this morning.
Lilwin added that it is time the industry takes into consideration the importance of veterans.
He sighted a few instances and called on the government to remunerate them.
"They did not only entertain us but they educated us too, imagine when there is an argument in the home and the only form of restoring happiness is when the family watch some of these entertainers, so this tells you that they are playing a very vital role in our various so they must be remunerated by the government," he added.
