Rising Ghanaian songstress Naf Kassi says musicians from the Western Region write good songs.
According to the “Me Mbo Tuo” hit maker who hails from Bogoso, a town in the Western Region, musicians from the western part of the country are leaving a legacy behind when it comes to good songwriting.
“Artistes from western region are always the best when it comes to producing and writing good music. From the days of CK Mann, Paapa Yankson till date, we still write good music and everyone can relate to the content.
“Just take a look at the exploits of Fameye and Kofi Kinaata. Even in my case, a song such as "Me Mbo Tuo" and "Odo Pa" sends a very good message to listeners out there. Our background trains us to compose good songs and not noisy ones that have flooded the system now,” she said this in a recent interview.
