The long-anticipated play by one of the nation's prolific playwrights, Latif Abubakar, 'Something Must Kill A Man' is set to stage today.

The play which will be an outdoor open-air event due to the prevalence of the novel Coronavirus will be held at the Labadi Beach Hotel today, September 2, 2021, tomorrow, September 3, and Saturday, September 4, 2021.

This event will be the ever first publicized theatre event after there were closures of entertainment activities as part of measures taken by the government to curb the spread of the virus.

According to the director of the play Latif Abubakar, the play seeks to imbibe the spirit of teamwork in all individuals and institutions alike.

Unlike his previous stage plays which focused on pressing national issues, Mr. Abubakar explained that his latest play would take the approach of a training program that centered on the attainment of the project and organizational goals.

He indicated that the play would adopt an innovative practical training approach that drove the audience (trainees) through team-building activities while enabling employees to understand and appreciate the importance of teamwork in achieving the overall objectives of a project or an organization.

It features actors Ekow Smith Asante, Leslie Wallace, Abraham MacPratt Dadzie, and actress Sitsofe Tsikor.
