Artiste manager and boss of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah has clarified that the impression that he is sabotaging Guru's career is false.
In a telephone interview on the show, Mr. Mensah said, "I've not sabotaged Guru's career. I served only once on the VGMA board in 2014 when I didn't have an artiste to manage".
He continued, "It is the policy of the VGMA board not to employ the services of persons who are managers of artistes."
He added that, he has no reason to sabotage Guru's Career.
Mr Richie Mensah said on 'United Showbiz' on United Television hosted by Nana Ama McBrown today Saturday, 13th February, 2021.
The Lynx Entertainment boss made these comments when he was called to speak on some misunderstanding between him and Maradona Yeboah Adjei popularly called Guru. Together with Guru were Arnold Asamoah, Ashes and Fameye who were all panel members on the entertainment show on UT TV.
According to Richie, what he thinks must have sparked this controversy is that Guru approached them to have a feature with both Kuami Eugene and Kidi.
"As it stands to have a collaboration with Kidi and Kuami Eugene on the same song doesn't happen like. I get a lot of calls everyday about one collaboration or another. We also call others artiste for collaborations but it either happens or it doesn't happen".
According to him, accusation of sabotaging Guru's career was worrying to him. "You know me, I don't do beefs with anyone in the industry.
"Guru knows my house and he has my number. He could have called me if he didn't understand anything than to have gone public to make those accusations against me".
Ending the conversation, Richie Mensah said he has nothing personally against Guru indicating that they can settle their differences because they both know each other for years.
