Undoubtedly one of Ghana's finest rappers right now, Amerado, the 'Yete Nsɛm' trendsetter has confessed that the global pandemic Coronavirus has contributed immensely to his popularity and rise to fame.
The rapper has recently gone viral for an online trend he started, where he, using rap, reports on all the recent happenings in the world of entertainment.
The rap videos, which often take a satirical form, are also quite informative and have irrefutably gained him a lot of new followers.
Speaking on Joy Prime's morning show, Prime Morning to host KMJ, the 'Twa So' hitmaker attributed the recent attention he has gained to the Covid-19 pandemic, explaining that the switch to digital media in these uncertain times was a shift in his favor.
"Along with my team, we came up with the 'Yɛte nsɛm' trend when corona came, so shout outs to corona" he said. "Even though we want corona to go very soon, I'm glad that it came. It has really helped me. And I think it has challenged me to be better".
