G.A.I.K.N. Music Video Dedicated to Kwame Nkrumah Released Today, 1 July 2020, on 60th Anniversary of 1st Ghana Republic

Baamu Records, in association with GhanaHero.Com, released “G.A.I.K.N - Global African Icon Kwame Nkrumah”, Sound Track and Video, on 1 July, 2020, on the 60th Anniversary of 1st Ghana Republic. The G.A.I.K.N. music video, produced by GhanaHero.Com and Prof Lungu, coincides with the 60th anniversary of the date Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah took office as Ghana’s First President, First Head of State, and First Citizen, under the First Republic of Ghana, on 1 July, 1960. That memorable day, 3 years after proclamation of an Independent Ghana by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, was, in fact, the day the official flag of the British colonial Governor-General was finally lowered to the ground, and the colonial governor general’s presence in the Gold Coast, removed from Ghana's soil off the African Continent, forever.

Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s exemplary achievement and policy for Ghana and Africa intensely heralded the African Independence rally throughout the continent in the 1960s, from Nigeria to Sierra Leone, from Zambia to Zimbabwe, and across the Atlantic to Guyana, to Jamaica, and all British colonies in between.

G.A.I.K.N - Global African Icon Kwame Nkrumah”, Sound Track and Video, was a project several years in the making.

We are glad we have reached this beautiful end, and have a modest, permanent, history-making Sound Track and Music Video to show for our effort on this day, July 1, 2020, on the anniversary of the 1st Republic of Ghana, the very day Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah assumed office as First President, First Head of Government, First Head of State, and First Citizen of Ghana, in Accra, Ghana.

[G.A.I.K.N - Global African Icon Kwame Nkrumah” (G.A.I.K.N. pronounced “Guy-Ken”)].
