Ghanaian Afrobeats Artiste Krymi has said he sometimes feels sad when he thinks about the Ghanaian music industry.

Known in real life as Henry Nuamah, the ‘Dede’ hitmaker has said, the problem of mostly relying on shows solely before young artiste gets paid makes him feel sad sometimes.

He said, unlike other countries, young musicians make a lot of money through copyright.

“I ask myself why are they excelling when it comes to financial gain more than us?” Krymi asked.

He said this during a phone interview with Bryt99.1FM’s DJ JahSolo last Saturday.

Krymi believes the copyright system in Ghana lack a few things to make it work properly in other to favour the artiste monetary wise.

He said this was one of the reasons why most parents are not willing to give their children the full backing when they want to venture into music full time.
