Veteran Ghanaian, Pascaline Edwards has disclosed that some Ghanaian Movie Producers are owing her.

According to Pascaline Edwards because she is demanding what they owe her they have decided to blacklist her by not giving her role in their movies.

“People still owe me monies from 2000, in our time when the new crop of actors came and you talk they think you don’t know what you are talking about. When an old actress is talking you should know that it could happen to me. Because I demand what they owe they have blacklisted me.

...I am happy some are coming out to say it. I would not brush you off I would support you even if I don’t get my money it would correct it so that they would not owe us and take us for granted.”

She noted she has no trust in the Actors’ Guild because over the years they have not done anything for her.

She noted that if the Actors’ Guild would be active they can do a lot for Actors and Actress in the country.

Pascaline Edwards is the winner of Ghana’s Best Female Actress in 2002. Edwards is considered a diva in the Ghanaian movie scene, with over a hundred movies to her credit in a professional career spanning a little over two decades. She has also acted in a number of Nollywood films.

Some of the popular movies Pascaline Edwards has starred include; A stab in the Dark, The Mask, House Arrest, Messages, Without Her Consent, My father’s Wife and Jewels and Deadline for Asante.
