OKYENHENE Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin has emphasized the need for Ghanaians to take advantage of the tourism sector, to better their lives and also help enhance Ghana’s economic growth.
The sector, he noted, is key to economic development, saying it has a lot of opportunities, including creating jobs for the youth.
He therefore encouraged private investors to give some attention to the sector.
The Okyenhene made this known when he visited the Bunso Arboretum Ecotourism Centre in the Eastern Region on Saturday.
The visit was part of his royal tour of 16 traditional towns in the Akyem traditional area.
He used the opportunity to walk on the Bunso Arboretum canopy walk; as the first Okyenhene to patronize it.
He expressed his satisfaction with how the place had been upgraded and encouraged Ghanaians particularly to also patronize.
