Gloria Sarfo Shares Sorrowful Life Story with Patrons Of Brave Not Broken symposium

Gloria Osei Sarfo known for her contributions to the film industry was call on by Choose Life Ghana and The National Service Personnel Association Of Greater Accra to Chair a symposium on suicide dubbed ” Brave Not Broken” at the R.S Amegashie Auditorium ,Legon.

Chairing the occasions Ms Gloria Osei Sarfo , Took the chance to share a breath taking story she has never shared with anyone with patrons.

Unveiling the skeletons in her cardboard, she started her story with an accident that happened to her , in her quest for a United States Of America (USA) Visa to join her fiancée.

Rendering an account of the story she mentioned , The USA Embassy accused her of a crime she had no idea off. ”

Baring similar name with the lady they were looking for , I was handed over to the Immigration of Ghana and the Ghana Police Service.

” I suffered a lot of depression , I couldn’t live a normal life” . During this hard times I kept everything to myself and still came on social media to say all the beautiful things.

Gloria Sarfo who seem to very spiritually inclined, said When things got worst she called her mum and some pastors for a prayer meeting at the Achimota Forest where they prayed during a heavy downfall. A week later she was called by the U.S Embassy , where they rendered an apology for putting her through such pain and trouble.

“I got the visa and traveled to U.S.A. I arrived there and the next day I was informed my mum has had a terrible accident, same morning my fiancee told me he has being attack”

“I walked on the streets of United States Of America crying every day” . She said sorrowfully.

The relationship failed, I got back to Ghana very broke. Recounting her woeful story , she told the congregation taxi drivers came knocking at my door each morning , by then Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Polo was her Personal Assistance and she used to borrow 50ghc and 100ghc from her to pay for my bills.

“Rosemomd Brown is a beautiful Soul I must say” she added.

“When I got back on my feet , I called all the taxi drivers and I still share with them what I have , because I realised they where also working to feed their families”. She happily said with a smile.

Wrapping up , the beautiful actress engage patrons in a song and advised they keep on doing their best and not to give up at all times.

She went on to encourage the congregation on the need of presenting everything to God during hard times.
