Celebrated Highlife Musician Nana Kwame Ampadu, however, singled out Sarkodie and Kofi B for praise as his favourite contemporary musicians.
“Sarkodie’s songs don’t have much, excuse me to say, dirty language. I even have a song with him. As for Kofi B, even if Highlife is fading out, I have hope because of him,” The founder and leader of the African Brothers International Band disclosed.
Speaking on GBC Sunrise FM’s ‘Sankofa Tete Highlife’ programme, Saturday, the highlife music legend revealed that he has written a book to help train up-and-coming musicians in order to preserve the genre and rid the music landscape of indecent and profane lyrics.
Aside his exploits in music, the ‘Agartha’ hitmaker touched on how God has used him over the years to bless many in different ways.
He thanked all Ghanaians for the love, support and prayers showed him over the years.
Referring to one of his songs, the Adwomtofo Hene advised people to always do what is right and remember that even if they think they are not useful to themselves, they may be useful to someone.
He encouraged all to do the thing that will make their loved ones happy.
