JAN 22, 2019 LISTEN

Nii Addo Quaynor popularly known in the Music Industry as Tinny has debunked rumours about being arrogant. The “Makola Kwakwe” rapper strongly believes that people do not know him and that is why perceive as arrogant. According to him, people most often mistake his “swag” for arrogance. Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the rapper said, people, perceive him to be arrogant because “my swag is different and I brought a different theme altogether in the industry.”

“My product was so different and I still got it. So when people tag me [as] arrogant person… I see it like normal…it’s me that people should talk about, I don’t need to talk about people,” he said.

Tinny pointed out that he is not arrogant and added that most people often admit after meeting him that he is not egoistic as speculated.

He further on explained that what people see on TV is totally different from who he is in private life.

When asked how he handles fame, the rapper said “I’ve been focused. When you are focused you see things normal.”

He added that once you become famous you learn to control it so that it doesn’t get into your head because once it does you might start act in a way that would be misinterpreted as arrogant.

Tinny was born in Osu to Mr. Ricky Tetteh Quaynor and Naa Badu Quaynor. He is the last-born of their six children. He got into the music industry at the early age of eight, by singing and rapping at parties and funfairs
