Kumawood actor Papa Kumasi born Clement Sarfo has been nominated in the Lead Actor in comedy show category for his lead role in the much talked about Papa Kumasi Tv show at the upcoming 2018 Ghana Movie Awards.
Since its inception in 2010, the Ghana Movie Awards which is organized annually sees to award and recognize excellence in the Ghanaian film industry.
The nomination for the Ghana movie award which was released not long ago comes as no surprise to those who have been watching the comedy show which aires on UTv.
The controversial kumawood actor who is yet to make a mark again would be competing with Richmond Xiavier Amoako, Henry Bentil, Louis Lamis and Yaw Dabo in the lead actor in comedy show category.
The annual Ghana Movie Awards will be held at the Kempisky Hotel in Accra.
Voting for winners of the various categories is currently ongoing on Ghana Movie Award website.
