Heritage Entertainment takes over Central Music Awards

Originally organized and launched by Candymania Entertainment in 2012; Heritage Entertainment takes over the organization of the 7th and its subsequent editions of the Central Music Awards(CMA).

The award scheme has been running for the past 6years and remains the first region to have a music award scheme organized by Candymania Entertainment.

Heritage Entertainment (Promotions) is now the organizers of the scheme following smooth deliberations between the two camps.

With the Central Music Awards being well accepted by people from all walks of life; many are in anticipation for the event this December.

The PRO of-of Heritage Entertainment, Mani Kay notes, ‘Heritage Promotions is appreciative for the love shown by the populace and industry players and we promise to have a free and fair show of an award scheme. We have been witnesses from its inception, we have studied the terrain and we know what we have in store for patrons who will be coming for this year’s event and the subsequent editions.’’

“Another icing on the cake is that my boss, Mr. Francis Spio, the CEO of Heritage Promotions has also promised that after this year’s edition, much more is to be expected,” he added.

Ahead of this year’s edition, there has been series of events preceding the main awards night that have been organized including a seminar which saw the like of Ricky Anokye, a business consultant, Nana Kwesi Coomson Entrepreneur and Gyimah, the owner of SpeakUpp gracing the event. The seminar was followed by the opening of nominations and later, the Nominees Jam held in Mankessim.

The 7th edition of Central Music Awards is slated for December 26th in Cape Coast at the Centre for National Culture. Red carpet session starts at 7 pm and then the main event at 9 pm. It promises to be a great night with all the shocks, surprises, glitz and glamour. Who wins what at the Central Music Awards 18???

The scheme first instituted saw Jungo coming up as the ultimate winner in 2012, followed by Teephlow in the year 2013 and 2016 respectively, Mikey Gh in the year 2014, Orkortor Perry in 2015 and Eshun the reigning artiste of the year in 2017.

Regional based awards are gaining grounds in the country, from movies to pageant to music just to mention a few. And Central Music Awards (CMA) is no exception.
