Mad Rush For Papa Staunch's New Hit "Atanfo nye Nyame"

Ghanaian-American rapper, Papa Staunch is a multi-talented artiste who is on a mission to change the face of Ghanaian hip-hop.

His brilliant fusion of "positive message and afro-beat" in his latest song ‘Atanfo nye Nyame’ has earned him rave reviews from music lovers and producers.

The song produced by Da Hammer featured burgeoning star Nketia. It was released to the public on Saturday, July 28, 2018,

Barely three months after the song was published on his Youtube channel, it has been viewed by at least 54,703 people.

The song has also been downloaded more than 100,000 times on two online music sites.

In a telephone interview from his base in the U.S., Papa Staunch said he has been overwhelmed by the reviews the song has received so far.

“Massive...massive. The song has been well received in both Ghana and America,” he said Thursday.

Papa Staunch revealed he is on a mission to upend conventional Ghanaian hip-hop by prioritising the needs of his fans at all times.

"My fans deserve the best from me and I'll give them what they want," he said, adding he will continue to combine advocacy and original Ghanaian beat in his songs.

He has promised to release only the best songs to his fans. "I won't fail them."
