Muse Africa has announced that voting has officially closed for the second edition of Africa's first ever-social media music accolades scheme called Bangerz of the Quarter .

The BOQs, as it is called, is a 100% social media voting music scheme. Voting for the second edition started on Monday, September 3, and ended on Monday, September 10.

Editor-in-chief of MuseAfrica, George Wiredu Duah, expressed sincere gratitude to the social media world for showing massive interest in the accolades.

He also noted that the second edition of MuseAfrica's Bangerz of the Quarter Accolades (May to August) had an increase in the number of days for voting from the initial three days to a whole week because MuseAfrica wanted every artiste nominated to have enough time to raise awareness and solicit for votes.

In explaining this whole idea, George Wiredu Duah, Editor-In-Chief of MuseAfrica asked “Why wait for a whole year to know the biggest songs in the country when songs are released every now and then? Hence the reason to give our fans an opportunity to know the biggest songs every quarter.”

George Wiredu Duah later stressed on collation, as; “it will take the Muse Africa board a week to collate results. After that will be the winners' announcement party the following week.”

“If you missed the chance to participate or vote for your favorite song or artistes of the Quarter this edition, don't worry, the next and final Bangerz of the Quarter i.e. from September to December is around the corner.”

The Rave Group and Kings and Queens Salon and Spa heavily support MuseAfrica Bangerz of the Quarter.
