Hot Issues 'Im Settling Dispute Between Bullet, Ebonys Dad – Dr Lawrence Tetteh
AUG 31, 2018 LISTEN

The Founding President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Dr Lawrence Tetteh has disclosed that he is settling the dispute between Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of late Dancehall songstress, Ebony Reigns and her former manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet.

Since the burial of her daughter a few months ago, Mr Opoku Kwarteng takes every slightest opportunity in the media to go for the jugular of Bullet, alleging he has cheated him.

Recently, Mr. Opoku Kwarteng in an interview with journalists disclosed that Bullet cheated him out of proceeds he accrued from the tribute concert held in Ebony's honour. He also asserted that out of the GHC 39,999 from the concert, Bullet gave him GHC 2000.

Almost a month ago, Ebony's father produced a handwritten note he claimed was handed to him by Bullet which detailed how much artistes received to perform at the concert. The list has since been refuted by the artistes whose names were captured on it.

Although Mr Opoku Kwarteng has labelled Bullet as a liar, the Ruff Town Records manager has indicated he is not purturbed by the allegations made by father of his former artiste, only to say Nana Opoku Kwarteng is ungrateful.

Commenting to the misunderstanding in an interview with Kaakyire Kwesi Appea-Apraku, host of Dwaboase on Power 97.9FM, Dr Lawrence Tetteh revealed he was working to resolve the dispute.

"We are working behind the scenes to bring them together," he noted and said both parties listen to him so he believes the allegations and counter allegations will not continue in the media space as had happened in the previous weeks.

"I'm having meetings with them. All these will cease," he added.

The renowned preacher was the spiritual father of the late Dancehall songstress who died in a fatal accident near Bechem in the Brong Ahafo Region in February, when she was returning from Sunyani where she had gone to visit her mother.

Dr Tetteh supported the family during the burial and final funeral rites of Ebony in March this year.
