Hiplife Songs Should Be Played In Churches – Musician

Rumors & Gossips Hiplife Songs Should Be Played In Churches – Musician
AUG 30, 2018 LISTEN

Ghanaian Hiplife artist and one of the most popular singers in Accra, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah known in showbiz circles as MzBel has alluded that Ghanaian men of God in the country should permit hiplife songs to be performed at their various churches.

She told Zionfelix on Celebrity Ride show that some Christians listen to hiplife songs when they are in their various homes hence not making it a big deal when churches allow their members to listen to the songs at church.

MzBel opined that the place of worship should not be boring for members but fun in order to encourage the non-believers to go to church.

She therefore, noted that some pastors have made the Christian Religion so strict for believers hence making them not to feel comfortable when they are in the house of God. She added that Pastors must entertain their members in order to make the people in church happy.

‘’I don’t go to church but the church shouldn’t be boring and strict like the way they do it. It should be a place when you go and return home, you feel like going there over and over again. It should be a fun, relaxed and happy place’’ she on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show.

Explaining why churches should be comfortable for Christians, Mzbel made it clear that some Christians are facing a lot of challenges so when they visit a place of worship, it is the duty of the man of God to make them feel cheerful in order to reduce the stress. To her, if performing hiplife songs at the church will release the stress of the believer, then she is in for it.

The ‘Tongues’ hitmaker supported her assertion that she does not see anything wrong in how Rev. Obofour manages his congregation. To the mother of one, if the man of God makes the church looks like a theatre and it makes the members happy, then she supports Rev. Obofour on such deed.

Mzbel was recently at Rev. Obofour’s church and she performed her ’16 Years’ hit song
