Controversial Ghanaian musician, Mzbel has revealed that she nearly went to Dr Obengfo for a flat tummy surgery.

According to the songstress, she decided to visit Dr Obengfo to remove some fats from her stomach. Interestingly, the same week she decided to visit Dr Obengfo for the surgery she heard Stacy Offei Darko had died after undergoing liposuction at Obengfo Hospital.

She added that, she did not believe the news at first. So she called a friend who confirmed to her the reports were actually true.

Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix on the Celebrity Ride show she explained: “Do you know I nearly visited Dr Obengfo for flat tummy surgery?”

“I had intended to undergo surgery at the facility to extract excess fats from my stomach; since I was tired of long hours of work-outs.

“I went to pick a form to carry out a laboratory test and everything I was told to do but a week before my intended surgery, I heard Ms Stacy had perished after a procedure at the hospital.”
