“Noko Ye Dzen” On Obunu TV Nominated Series Of The Year

First-ever Ga-Dangme telenovela “Noko Ye Dzen” showing on Obonu TV on Tuesdays at 4:30pm and Sundays at 8:30pm gets nomination for Series of the Year in the maiden Ga-Dangme & Ewe Film Awards 2018 slated for Friday 17th August at the Osu Presby Hall.

“Noko Ye Dzen” which literally translates “there is something in this world” reflects the life story of three girls; Ayele, Dede and Koshie who grew as friends, until they lost touch with each other at a point. They later reunited after the return of Ayele from overseas. Ayele pushes Dede into prostitution, while Koshie agrees to only remain a house help for their household in order to have her share of their prostitution proceeds.

This award scheme is designated to promote Ga-Dangme and Ewe acts and personalities who have excelled as well as those who have made contribution to the ga-dangme and ewe entertainment industry. The above award scheme is an establishment of UK-based Ojekoo Radio in collaboration with Shock Absorbers Entertainment.
