Several lovers of music were disappointed over the weekend by an MTN organized musical concert in Takoradi.
The fans had been told through series of radio announcements that "Shaggy", a popular musician, would perform live at the Golden Jubilee Park at around 1600 hours but the show started at 1900 hours to the displeasure of the crowd.
The poor sound quality coupled with the frequent breakdown of the equipment worsened the frustration of the audience, while there was a heavy police and military presence at the VIP stand.
The organizers had attempted to beam a similar live show in Accra through satellite for the Takoradi audience but they were not pleased with the arrangements since the radio announcements did not say so.
The agitated fans booed at the organizers each time a local artiste appeared on stage.
