Canada-based Ghanaian singer and writer, Abigail Coleman, has released two new inspirational singles to announce her presence on the gospel music scene.

The songs- 'Tumi' and 'Mekra'- were unveiled at a listening ceremony at the Mangoase Restaurant at East Legon in Accra on Thursday, July 5.

It was attended by a number of showbiz personalities and the inky fraternity who also witnessed the premiering of a video for the song, 'Tumi'.

Both songs praise God's greatness and mercy on mankind.

Abigail Coleman is not just a talented musician but also a woman of passion and compassion.

She lives in Canada with her family and leads worship in an Apostolic Church, where her voice carries the raw intensity and faith with which she pursues the Lord and confidence she gains in His presence.

She has been involved in worship ministry since she was a child. She has really touched many lives with her gift and has brought many to Christ. She ministered in Ghana and in the UK before moving to Canada.

Her journey as a gospel singer actually took off when she met Kiki Banson about 13 years ago. At that time, he was working on a record and Kiki believed Abigail could write songs and urged her to do so. Abigail bought into his belief in her and contributed to some of her songs which were included on Becca's first album.

After working on that album with Kiki, Abigail had a deep revelation which turned her life around. She felt the call to minister through singing, hence her choice for gospel music.
