Organizers of Ghana Music Awards – UK, Alordia Promotions and Westcoast Promotions have announced that the third edition of Ghana Music Awards-UK will be held on 6th October in the United Kingdom.
Speaking at a press launch monitored by Attractivemustapha.com at Erata Hotel East-Legon, the organizers mentioned that the award is basically based on Ghanaian songs that doing very well in UK.
"Your music can do well in Ghana , but if it is not doing well in UK you are likely not to get nominations."
They continued that One of the key purposes of the award scheme is to take Ghanaian music outside the shores of the nation.
As to when nominations will be opened the organizers mentioned that on 30th May nominations will be opened and closed 30th June.
They added that on 13th July nominations will be officially released ahead of the main event.
The organizers admitted that it has not been easy organizing the Ghana music Awards UK and acknowledged the fact that Charter House who are the organizers of Ghana Music Awards are doing a great job .
